Walks: Megalo Seitani

This walk is both easy and rewarding. The trail is easy to follow and not too strenuous. Allow 1,5 hours to reach the destination.

Megalo Seitani is a unspoiled beach in a Natura 2000 protected area. You will need to bring all your water and food as the beach has no service, tavernas etc.

Micro Seitani – halfway towards its larger sister Megalo Seitani

After about 45 minutes you will get to Mikro Seitani.

Take a swim, a rest or continue on the trail across the small beach

The trail is for long parts in shade. Only a few parts is steep or with loose ground. Nonetheless I recommend that you wear good shoes or trekking sandals even if we often have met other walkers in flip-flops(!)

The track shown below is only possible with your own transportation (car or motorbike) otherwise you will have to walk from Karlovasi.

You continue at the steep concrete road at the end of the Potami beach and follow the road, that initially is concreted but soon changes to a fire road,  but still drivable with an ordinary car.

Soon you will get to the starting point of the trail to Seitani beach.
